Jewish delis are notorious for pickles, and we’re no different!
We serve two types of pickles:
- Full-sour (also known as “old” pickles) which have been fully soaked
- Half-sour (or “new” pickles) which are soaked for a shorter time – giving them a crisper taste and a brighter green color
Pickles to sandwiches are like ginger to sushi: They cleanse the palate between bites, enhancing the flavor of hot pastrami on rye (or any other sandwich).
